Services
We are a living classroom and a catalyst for change. Our services extend beyond growing food to educating our community, advocating for a resilient food system, and collaborating to create a healthier future for all.
Workshops
Get hands-on with sustainability. Our interactive workshops for all ages cover everything from aquaponics basics to seed starting, empowering you with the knowledge and skills to grow your own food and be part of the solution.
We champion policies and practices that support food justice and sustainable local agriculture. Our advocacy includes direct action, such as providing fresh, nutrient-dense produce to local food pantries, and working to make resilient food systems a priority for our community.

FAQ
What is aquaponics?
Aquaponics is a sustainable farming method that creates a symbiotic ecosystem. Fish waste provides natural nutrients for plants, and the plants, in turn, filter and clean the water for the fish. It uses 90% less water than traditional agriculture.
How do I participate?
You can participate by volunteering, attending a workshop, or supporting our community-supported agriculture (CSA) program. Visit our "Get Involved" page for current opportunities!
What crops do you grow?
We specialize in nutrient-packed microgreens, along with a vibrant variety of leafy greens, herbs, and seasonal vegetables. We use aquaponics, hydroponics, and traditional in-ground methods for year-round production.
Are workshops free?
We believe education should be accessible. Many of our workshops are offered on a "pay-what-you-can" basis, which includes the option to contribute through volunteer hours instead of a monetary fee. Check individual workshop listings for details.
Who can join?
Everyone is welcome! Our volunteer days, workshops, and events are designed for people of all ages and backgrounds. Specific events may have age recommendations, which will be listed in the details.
What is your mission?
Our mission is to build a resilient local food system by demonstrating sustainable agriculture, educating the community, and ensuring access to fresh, healthy food for all.
Do you offer cooking classes?
Yes! Led by our plant-based culinary school graduate, our "Farm to Table" workshop series teaches you how to transform our freshly harvested produce into delicious, healthy meals. It’s the perfect next step after learning how we grow your food.
